Bob McInnis

Bob McInnis is an award-winning landscape photographer living in Greenport, New York.

His fascination with photography started early and by fifth grade he was shooting his ele
mentary school class photos and developing in a darkroom his parents built for him in his basement.

Bob grew up in Winchester, Massachusetts and attended Dartmouth College. A few years after graduation, Bob landed a job at Newsdayand moved to Long Island

Bob's interest is in highly saturated, detailed, color fine-art photography. In an article written about him, Dan's Papers has compared his meticulously planned images of the North Fork's natural landscape to illustrations by N.C. Wyeth. Long Island's North Fork is a narrow, 30-mile stretch of land at the northeast tip of the island full of vineyards, farms, and absolutly stunning beaches.

His images have appeared in a number of publications, including Travel Holiday, Wine Country Living, The Conservationist, Homes Overseas, The Guardian, and the book The Natural History of New York.

Prints can be purchased directly from this site. If you'd like to see some samples, you can view many of his larger images at the Greenport offices of Century 21/Agawam Albertson Realty. Their offices are across from (and a little bit east of) Mitchell Park, the home of the carousel.
